    VISITOR STATUS

    Berinvestasi Pohon Gaharu

    Advertisment Gaharu Indonesia
Bisnis Gaharu Indonesia - Asia Plantation Capital is offering clients the opportunity to invest in agarwood, also known as "the wood of Gods".

Even by rainforest standards, the aquilaria tree is remarkable. Aquilaria produces rich and resinous heartwood, called ‘agarwood’, and it has been traded globally for centuries. This rich, resinous wood is used in incense production, it has medicinal purposes and its pure distilled resin is widely used in the perfume industry.

The dark resinous agarwood forms in the aquilaria tree when it becomes infected with a type of bacteria that occurs naturally in the wild. As the infection takes hold, the tree produces the dark aromatic resin as a natural defence to the bacteria infected areas. The resulting heartwood is highly sought in many parts of the world and when extracted from the tree, is either processed into wood chips for aromatic burning or distilled in order to produce ‘Oudh oil’. Both have a distinctive fragrance and are highly valued.

However, not every aquilaria tree will become naturally infected with the disease and produce agarwood. But after 10 years of research, headed by a professor at one of Thailand’s most respected universities, a team of bio-technical scientists developed a commercially viable method of forming resin in plantation aquilaria trees. The inoculation kit has gone on to provide higher yields and higher quality wood when compared to kits already in circulation today. This new method is protected by three patents and has been used to create Oudh oil that has been independently certified as grade A+.

Growth in the population and affluence of consumer markets in Japan, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has seen demand for agarwood soar over the past 30 years. This demand has resulted in rapidly diminishing stocks in the wild, pushing up prices and leading to concerns over future supplies. As an organisation, we were quick to identify the benefits of working with this innovation in agarwood production and have tailored an exciting investment solution for clients. Not only have we secured expert bio-technical consultancy services, but we have acquired an existing agarwood distillery with a 10-year history of extracting Oudh oil, and currently supplying buoyant local markets in Thailand.

This particular investment is typically classed as a medium-term investment where clients have the opportunity to receive returns at approximately 7 years from the date of purchase. However we are continually acquiring new plantations that have standing existing trees and, subject to availability, we are able to offer short-term investments that can produce returns from as early as the second year, after the date of purchase.

Whilst taking the time out to evaluate this proposal please note the following points below. If you require further detailed information, including costs and a forecast, please feel free to register your contact details on our ‘Contact us’ page or our quick contact form to the right.

    • Demand: There are around 80 countries that import agarwood annually but the biggest importers of the commodity are the UAE, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Taiwan. The largest exporters are Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. The value of agarwood exported from Singapore alone has been estimated to exceed $1.2 billion per annum (United Nations FAO).
    • Supply: By the early 1990s, the aquilaria tree had been harvested to near extinction in Southeast Asia and was classified as an endangered species leading it to be placed on the Convention for International Trade in Endangered Species (CITIES) list. The listing makes it illegal to harvest or trade the commodity without a CITIES permit. Private sector investment in commercial and sustainable plantations has led the drive to protect the trees in the natural forest by providing a viable substitute. Yet at present, only 35% of global demand is being met by the agarwood producing countries (Forest Research Institute of Malaysia).
    • Investment Solution: : Asia Plantation Capital offers investors the unique opportunity to take advantage of high returns made from the aquilaria tree. We provide plantation grown trees, inoculated with a scientifically award-winning kit, that are then harvested in our own distillery (subject to jurisdiction) with an end user market already engaged. That is why we are confident that this represents an exceptional investment opportunity.

    Next Steps
    • Before any purchase is made you are required to register your interest either by phone or email, details can be found in the Contact Us section of the website.
    • The investment will be explained in full and will include price points, marketing material, forecasts and analysis.
    • Our investment consultants are fully-trained and pride themselves on their knowledge and experience within the sector. Each has visited our plantations in order to appreciate the operations in practice.
    • Once you are comfortable with the product, the company and the consultant, and are happy to proceed with the investment, you will be required to fill in an application form and the purchase cycle will begin.

    Tentang Minyak Gaharu

    Advertisment Gaharu Indonesia
Bisnis Gaharu IndonesiaAgarwood Oil, also known as Oud oil, Aloeswood oil, and many other names depending location, is an extremely rare and precious natural oil obtained from several species of Agarwood (Aquilaria sp.) trees. It originates in North Eastern India, Bhutan and parts of South East Asia - especially Vietnam and Cambodia - the Philippines, and Indonesia, including Papau New Guinea. Agarwood has a very long history of medicinal use, as a valuable component of incense, and as an aromatic oil. There are several species of Agarwood, the most important species are: Aquilaria agollocha, A. malaccensis and A. crassna. Aquilaria malaccensis is endangered and protected worldwide under the CITES convention and A. crassna is listed as endangered by the Vietnamese government.

Our Oud comes from the species Aquillaria agollocha, and is plantation grown in Assam, India, an area originally known to have an abundance of naturally occurring agarwood trees. While there are still wild agarwood trees to be found in inaccessible forest regions, they are extremely rare and very difficult to obtain. By purchasing agarwood oil from cultivated trees, we help reduce damage to the last remaining wild agarwood trees, and to the forests in which the precious agarwood trees grow.

The fragrance of Agarwood comes from a process where fungi infect the trees, producing an oleoresin which saturates the wood. It is through this oleoresin saturated wood where Oud develops its aroma. The fragrance is complex, deep and woody, and is highly prized as an incense in Japan and as an oil in the Middle East. Because of its rarity, Agarwood is not well known in the West, but should be experienced by every connoisseur of essential oils, and anyone serious about aromatherapy and natural perfumery.

Bisnis Gaharu IndonesiaThe particular type of Oud oil we carry is a CO2 extract. It is very viscous and dark brown oil, is non-sticky, and can be applied directly to the skin (in minute amounts) or thinned in a carrier oil. To incorporate into your own blends gently warm in a water bath and add drop by drop into your mixture. Or for a very affordable, easy-to-use alternative Eden Botanicals has created Agarwood 5%dilution in a Sunflower Oil carrier base.

There are many grades of Agarwood, and the highest quality wood is extremely expensive. In fact, the first-grade wood is one of the most expensive natural products in the world, with prices of up to $13,000 per pound, and the essential oil from wild agarwood trees is one of the most expensive oils in the world. Since we source our Oud from trees that are cultivated - not from wild or endangered trees - we are able to supply a very decent oil at a more affordable price. And because Eden Botanicals' Agarwood Oil is pure and unadulterated, you only need a tiny amount in your blends to enjoy its beautiful aroma.

Aquilaria Trees Are Now Protected in Most Countries

    Advertisment Gaharu Indonesia
Bisnis Gaharu Indonesia Agarwood, aloeswood, eaglewood, jinkoh, gaharu are names for the world’s most valuable incense. This resinous material is produced by tropical rainforest trees and has been used for centuries as incense and in traditional medicine. In the past, old growth Aquilaria and Gyrinops trees were indiscriminately cut to find the resin (usually hidden within the center of only a few old trees). Today in many countries of Southeast Asia where the tree was once native, it has become very rare due to increased harvesting.

The resinous wood or oil extracted from the inside of some trees is extremely valuable since it is highly regarded for use during Buddhist and Islamic cultural activities as well as an important ingredient in many traditional medicines. It is also an extremely important component in traditional Japanese incense ceremonies.

Although most people in the United States and Europe are not familiar with this aromatic resinous wood, its use as incense (called aloeswood) is mentioned several times in the bible. People in the United States, Europe and other countries that have had the opportunity to smell the fragrance of this extraordinary incense find it very appealing and pleasant.

Aquilaria trees are now protected in most countries and the collection of agarwood is illegal from natural forests. International agreements, such as CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora), accepted by 169 countries, is designed to ensure trade in agarwood products from wild trees does not threaten the survival ofAquilaria. Despite these efforts agarwood products from illegally cut trees continues to be sold and unknowing consumers create a demand that helps to destroy the last old growth Aquilaria trees in existence.

What triggers agarwood to form in some old growth trees has been an unsolved mystery. Our research investigation over the last 12 years in cooperation with The Rainforest Project Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of the worlds forests http://www.agarwood.org.vn, has studied the formation of resin in Aquilariaand Gyrinops trees and found a method to produce the resin in plantation grown young trees.

Bisnis Gaharu IndonesiaThis technique consists of wounding trees in a specific manner and applying treatments to accelerate the natural defense responses of the tree. The technique allows a sustainable yield of resin to be produced in relatively young trees.

Agarwood is a high value forest product that is easy to store and ship. Our newly developed methods to cultivate agarwood is providing a new economic, non-timber forest product for Southeast Asia and other tropical regions of the world. This new economy in rural areas will help many of the world’s poorest people.

The sustainable production of agarwood in plantation grown trees eliminates the need to cut old growth forest trees for the resin and will help save this endangered tree from possible extinction. This work also provides a source of cultivated agarwood so this magnificent aromatic resin can be enjoyed by people throughout the world.

The world's first cultivated agarwood produced using our technology by farmers in Vietnam is now available and can be purchased from distributers and from the internet. (Sumber: ForestPhatology)
